ABOUT THE EXPERT
Rod Clark knows whiskey.
His life-long passion has included numerous whiskey tours of Scotland, Ireland, Japan, and of course, our own Bourbon heritage here in the US. Rod is a graduate of Moonshine University in Louisville, KY where he learned the art of crafting whiskey from industry experts and Master Distillers from across the country. He reads extensively on whiskey and combines his knowledge with a passion for teaching and sharing.
Rod’s professional career included 35 years in the agricultural industry. He served as Senior Vice President at CGB Enterprises. CGBE is a major supplier of grains throughout the bourbon industry and his exceptional understanding of the grains at the foundation of whiskey is unique and insightful. He is an experienced and talented trainer. Since retiring from CGB in 2017, Rod has combined his skills and passion for whiskey to create an experience that is fun, informative, and extremely entertaining.
